A young Bangladeshi talent, Md Shahriar Azad Evan, has brought pride to the nation by securing a top position in the CICA Artificial Intelligence Art Competition 2025, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the banner of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Themed “Youth Empowerment in Green and Sustainable Development Goals,” this year’s competition encouraged young artists from across Asia to creatively explore how artificial intelligence can promote sustainability and innovation. Over 260 AI-generated artworks were submitted by participants from CICA Member States, reflecting a vibrant mix of cultural diversity and shared commitment to a greener, technology-driven future.
Among the winners, Md Shahriar Azad Evan, representing the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, stood out for his artistic creativity and innovative approach to portraying sustainable development through AI-generated art. His achievement highlights the growing presence and talent of Bangladeshi youth in the field of digital creativity and environmental innovation.
CICA extended its appreciation to all participants and the international jury for their contributions to this inspiring initiative, which continues to empower youth and foster collaboration across Asia through technology and art.
